Lisa Barall Matt - visited the NICU at UCONN and heard the story of a set of twins currently being treated. Their dad is stationed in Pakistan and has been able to see them through the internet on one of the cameras donated by the Rotary.

Craig Buhrendorf - mentioned a sport rivalry, a positive experience on a flight back from Vegas and that his wife Jean was voted Best Dentist in the latest Hartford Advocate poll.
Dale Bronson - reported that on his latest visit to Yale, his blood count was highest since he was diagnosed with his illness.
Bill Barnes - related a story of how he baptized an infant in the UCONN NICU some time back and was visited at this church a year later by that child and its family.
Gary Miller - got his new Mickey Mouse watch and introduced the speaker, Bruce Donald.
Linda Pendergast - is launching on a trip to Gettysburg to follow in the footsteps of Joseph Twitchell, the first minister of Asylum Hill Coongregational Church.

Les Zinner - reviewed the details for the upcoming outing to the May 29 Rock Cats game. Tickets that include the pre-game picnic are $22. Tickets without the picnic are $12. Numerous Rotary Clubs will be in attendance, and District Governor Mike McGovern will be present.
Tom Voorhees - thanked those who helped at two recent Amber Alert events. Two additional opportunities to help are upcoming, call Tom for details.
President Salin Low - announced the upcoming District Conference, a visit she had to the NICU unit and that the District had increased their recent donation to $2000 for NICU cameras.
Paul Mikkelson - will be participating in Jim Calhoun's Bicycle Charity Run.

The 2015 Jim Calhoun Ride and Walk for Lifesaving Research and Care will take place on May 30 and will start and finish at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford. The event will feature rides of 12, 36 and 60 miles and a 5K walk, and as the day ends, there will be a celebratory cookout for all participants. Ninety cents of every dollar contributed by riders and walkers and their supporters will go directly to the cause and every UConn Health department will be eligible to receive funds raised annually by this event. Thor Cheyne - Planning is beginning for the annual golf tournament. Farmington Bank is going to co-sponsor the event, and thanked Hank Frey for helping with securing their support.
