Jolly Lux thanked our TOTV sponsors and reminded us that the money we raise helps organizations like GLO. GLO has reached 100,000 in Uganda over the past 10 years, thanks to efforts such as TOTV.

Sue Budde is happy that Chris LaMadrid’s surgery went well.
Peter Vignati was happy to see the eclipse in St. Johnsbury, VT. It was crystal clear, 65, and sunny, although traffic made the trip back awful.

Collinsville Savings Bank
Cat Pellino introduced Tom Faeth, VP and security officer of North West Community Collinsville Bank, with over 30 years of experience developing corporate security at companies including Traveler’s, Sotheby's, and General Motors. While he can’t speak much on the investigation because it is ongoing, he is a part of the Elizabeth Stewart Gardner Museum Heist investigation.
Tom shared the reality of fraud and what to look for to protect ourselves against these increasingly effective and damaging scams.
Additional tips include:
Remember, if someone contacts you asking for information, nothing legitimate is ever immediate, and nothing should be secret because banks have the account information and your information.
Contractors should finish job before payment
Don’t click on spam - Once the virus is in there the attackers can see everything
NEVER provide your personal information
Set up third-party verification like text with code when possible and bank notifications
Keep your credit frozen
Monitor your checking account because your checks have account information on them
Most banks will verify signatures on large checks
