Dan attended UConn, Storrs where he majored in economics and minored in marketing. He was Vice President of the Entrepreneur Club and was very active in other clubs around the campus. He is currently pursuing his MBA as well as a Master’s in Business Analytics and Project Management at UConn in Hartford.
Dan’s parents came to the United States from Madeira, Portugal when they were ten and six years old. A fun fact for international soccer fans is that his grandparents’ house was two houses down from Cristiano Ronaldo’s childhood home and she knew the family very well. Dan is currently single and “looking for the right dog”. He has a brother who is a Chemical Engineer in Fairfield County.
Daniel Rodrigues grew up in Avon and has lived there for almost his whole life. While he currently lives in Hartford with a college friend, he is in the process of buying a house...in Avon.
A frequent traveler, Dan has been all over and never travels to the same place twice. His most recent trip was to St. Lucia. In his free time, he loves golfing and just being outside “doing something productive”.
Dan is proud to be where he is today and very grateful for the opportunities life has given him. He is especially proud to be part of Rotary.
